Biography

Ileana Vanessa Blanco (stage name: Theda Jane) was born in Brownsville, Texas to a middle class couple. She attended dance classes from an early age and grew a passion for music. By 6th grade, she committed herself to being a classically trained musician. Initially interested in music composition, her interest in songwriting came during her college years. She released her first album in March 2019 at age 26 entitled "Rotten Teeth". Throughout her 20s, she was in and out of numerous bands until at age 27, when she decided to go solo full time. On January 13th at the age of 30, she released her self-titled album Theda Jane.
